If it happens Disney/marvel & hasbro would have have a sit down , on weather they are going to Let DC beat them to the punch in the retro department.
Hasbro already shot themselfs in the foot with the Bad handling Joe 40th Anniverary sets. Yet redeemed themselfs with the walmart 45 th Anni stuff. Will they learn anything from this NOOOOOOOOOO.
haveing these 3 clowns thinking about making reto figures and making them appealing to cost thinking collector/public will take an Act of God!

Ya know, it would have been great if they could have got Marvel on board as well...but DC has a vast amount of Characters, that have yet to be tapped. I look forward VERY MUCH to seeing many AWESOME DC WGSH's!

You'll NEVER see Hasbro allow Mattel to produce anything they have the license to. If the DC figures sell well though, have no worries...Hasbro will make similar Marvel figures (hopefully not on their 9" bodies again). Its just the way things work.

My concern is that Hasbro will tell Marvel that they did make megos
when they put out the Origins line. People in the toy business see
very little difference between a vintage mego, Famous Covers,
and Hasbro 9 inch DC and Marvels - especially people in the toy
          business who work at Hasbro.

Very, very good point. And more than likely true.

Well, ouch aside, I know there's at least one Mego fan working over in the Hasbro camp (who also is reportedly a Hellboy fan) but it sounds like that has had little if any appreciable sway over past negotiations. :\ bummer.

Hey, maybe they will bring back the 9 inch line. I can always use more custom fodder.
