To echo what others are saying... It seems pretty smart to me, from a business perspective, to do some of these alternate costumes. You already have the figures... sell them to us again in a different outfit. Yes, as buyers, we'd prefer to have the outfits sold separately a la Action Jackson... but my guess is you could get most of us to buy the whole figure again if we really want the outfit (especially if it is on a nice card).

Variant uniform options include:

Kirk's green "casual"
McCoy's "surgical"
Dress uniforms
Mirror Mirror
"Where No Man Has Gone Before" / "The Cage" style
More accurate Klingon
More accurate Romulan
etc.


Obviously, as a Mego and a Trek fan, I'd love to see new characters. Most of my votes are for people that have already been mentioned. Mudd and Tellarite would require a "fat" body, I suspect... but I would love to see them get made. Also want to throw out Transporter Chief Kyle and Lt. Riley... I know they'd be long shots, but they are a couple of my favorite "that guys" on Star Trek.

But ever since I was a little kid, I wanted a Kirk green "casual" uniform for my Mego. Make a little boy's dream come true!

I'm glad to see there's someone else who wants Kevin Riley, how could anyone forget him serending the crew and ordering extra portions of ice cream for everyone. Another figure I'd definitley buy would be Lt. Arex from the animated series, Commadore Decker, even though I already have a captain Dunsel Decker. A Klingon in a more accurate uniform, green shirt Kirk, I'd buy one of everything.
