    Anyone else hate internet exclusives?

I was SO excited about seeing the new Mego...Then I find out I will NEVER get a Green Arrow figure because it is only available on the internet...And itīs a limited number as well...That is completely unfair to people like myself that only shop at Toys R Us or Target. I live in Mexico and getting mail here is next to impossible from the U.S. I drive every month to Texas and hit all the stores. I will never be able to get Green Arrow now because of this exclusive to the internet crap they are now doing...

If it's a choice between a GA that's harder to get, or none at all, I'll take my chances on the exclusive. I feel your pain though. I was worried that I wouldn't get a Khan, but it worked out OK.

As long as there is plenty of supply to meet demand, I have no problem with internet exclusives.

What I hate is when the supply is kept intentionally below the demand.

In other words, internet exclusives are OK, but limited edition internet exclusives totally suck, and take all the fun out of collecting!

Not a a fan of exclusives.
          They usually mean:
          "You won't get one"
          or
          "You'll pay double"....

And I don't like having to shop at all kinds of different websites, where I have to leave my VISA info, etc. I've had enough trouble with that.

I don't like any kind of exclusives.

I know exclusives are the nature of the beast nowadays, but just because they exist don't mean I have to like them and wont pretend too.

I dislike Internet Exclusives as well ....,
However Internet Exclusives are Far Better than Exclusives to Target, Walmart & Toysrus ...., The Distributing Methods of those type of Exclusives are Hit & Miss,.. & More so Favor East Coast & Southern States. I can get most internet Exclusives I want to Purchase,.. Not so Much with Store Exclusives,.. Unless ofcourse they are at extreme mark-ups on Ebay.

BTW... IMO, Convention Exclusives should be Outlawed & Banned .

I don't hate them, but I agree if supply doesn't meet demand, it stinks.

The problem with these and other exclusives is that scalpers see the word "exclusive" and buy as many as they can. This hinders the rest of us. This was a major problem with the DCUC wave 5 at Walmart. Scalpers were practically camping out there and buying up everything. I have to admit though, an online exclusive makes it a little easier than a store specific one, even if this is one site specific exclusive. Matty.com has been getting better with there offerings.

When Matty offers GA, I will be real curious to see what the price and limit are. I'd be tempted to buy more than one just so I can hook up a fellow member here.

We have to stick together right?

                        Hmmmm....

I hate exclusives. A cheap way to make an instant collectible. Creates artificial interest for a line, fodder for scalpers, encourages speculators, and does a lot of harm to the hobby.

Not a real big fan of exclusives, either, especially limited edition types for the reasons mentioned above. Hopefully, Mattel will reconsider and bump up the amount of GA available so everyone that wants one can get one. Either that, or re-release him down the line in a two-pack with Black canary or Hal Jordan or something at TRU.

Really unexcited about the Matty exclusive Green Arrow. If I can't get it thru a group buy here I won't be getting it. The mark up and shipping from Mattel is nuts. The JLU figures are coming out to about 10 a pop, double what they are at Target.

I wouldn't really worry to much about getting the GA . After a few weeks of them being out they will be not only all over ebay but in the marketplace here. Also with everyone talking about getting a large order together I don't think it will be a problem for you.
Even a few months after they are release I don't feel it will reach anywhere near the SDCC exclusive figures in price. I know I would have no problem helping anyone out that can't get them .
