Curious on the GA Matty Collector Exclusive...

Just wondering why Green Arrow was chosen as the exclusive....is it because he doesn't have a villainous counterpart like Supes (Lex) and GL (Sinestro)?

Maybe with the accessories he cost more to make? I guess if that is the reason we may not get a lantern with GL.

Cost would seem high on the list. It might just be a creative decision. Mattel wanted a character for their site and GA is popular with Mego/collector people but not as well known the the big 3.

No obivious foe, no Challenge of the Superfriends connection, somebody
in charge had a MEGO Green Arrow - there could be any number
of reasons why one character is chosen over another.

And we may never know why exactly.

TOTALLY AGREE. With all the current interest in Green Lantern, he would have been the best nominee to me.

GA is the most impressive figure, with great accessories that are a step up from the original, so to me it's a great way to launch the line. It says "Remember these? They are back and better than ever."
