Annoying MattyCollector Trouble for the Fall?

Well in the middle of this great era for the mego figures we enjoy so much, I just have to mention this so we can be aware of what the fall deal sounds like:

1. I ordered He-Man & Skeletor from Mattycollector when their exclusive game began.

2. I watched some of the other characters get sold out all too quickly.

3. I noticed Man-At-Arms was going on sale on July 15th, I woke up early and it still said COMING SOON.

4. I have to work to pay for this stuff, so I got ready to do that.

5. I left the house, got on the train checked my iphone and Man-At-Arms was SOLD OUT.

6. Green Arrow is our first new DC mego and is a pre-order at MattyCollector....

Is there going to be a fail safe for us?

Paul has mentioned getting a group purchase for folks like us.

I ordered some JLU stuff from Matty, never any problems. The He-Man stuff is on fire in the secondary market, so it may be a bad comparision.

I haven't ordered from Mattycollecter, but from what I have read on these boards, Zeedox, your story is not unique. Hopefully the Doc will get a bunch on hand for folks to order from him.

I want to be added to the group purchase ..... I wanty a Green Arrow. This sounds like a better option as I hate Matty Collector. I am gonna be trying for the 6" and 12" GB , I hope that I can land those before they sell out.

I've been lucky so far with mattycollector.com (haven't missed a figure yet) but if it was an option (like it is now with MOTU), I can only suggest two words (regarding 8" WGSH): Online Subscription

I'd be all over that in a split second....

With luck, after the line has run its course at brick and mortar retail (which hopefully won't be for a LONG LONG time), the exclusive mattycollector route, IF they couple it with a subscription option, could keep it alive ... for years (given the number of characters in the DC universe and the appetite for them that we megoholics have! LOL! )
