Am I happy with Khan? Hell no! The jerk drinks all the milk, never remembers to refill the ice trays, and is constantly peeing all over the toilet! He's the worst roommate ever!

And I Thought The New Gorn was a horrible roommate, cobstantly trting to stab me in my sleep, and eat the dog.

Did Khan come out EXACTLY as I hoped he would? No.
If time and money were not concerns, could I have made him differently? Yes.
Did Khan being an exclusive mean that we got paid more to make him? No.
Do I think Rumsfeld is a war criminal? Yes.
el oh el oh el oh el.... ^ for the win.
I love the Khan... As I've said before, Mmmm. Genuine Corinthian Pleather.

traditionally exclusives cost more and are deluxe versions of something, that being said, they should have paid you more for it, knowing time and money was an issue makes all the difference.
I know this was commented on before, but I'm piping up to add that really, typically, exclusive items are items that were solicited for sale by the manufacturer but didn't get enough orders to make production profitable - so they become "exclusive" by way of a store offering a higher per unit price to call a smaller production (when you call it limited it's a selling feature) run their own. That way the toy company cuts the loss they would have had on early prototyping, sculpting and production costs already expended, and the store has a reason to get you in the door. Or, you get something which is a mold re-hash or part swap designed to allow an exclusive (cha-ching) when the toy company didn't have anything else at the ready.

... ... Eer.. Arghh... Ok. Comment successfully contained.
I really dig the figure. The only thing I WISH could have been different is that I would love to have seen the transparent plastic rain-suit go! But hey, I imagine Doc feels the same way. It really is no big deal to me though.
I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS ! I absolutely love this figure , I feel he is well done and fits the re-mego mold perfectly. I only hope that when / if Paul gets to make more Trek , classic , movie or whatever they will be as well sculpted as this one.

You also have to look at it this way, if you're unhappy with all the details, for $20 you got a perfect sculpt done rotocast so you can customize your own. That's the one cool thing we sometimes forget. People pay $25-$30 for me to send then just a hand painted resin custom head. Here, you get those awesome new rotocasts for much less. Hell, I would have paid $20 just for the head.
Complaining about cheese factor on a Mego replica makes no sense to me, it's not a medicom hyper hero and never intended to be. I wouldn't change a thing about my Khan.
Exclusive does not entail "Deluxe" in any way, it's an incentive piece that someone gets the priveledge of buying the entire inventory. Yeah some guys do kick in some extra points on the price tag because they can but also because it's a huge risk.
At least it's an entirely new character, not like the hoarde of useless repaints that companies threw at us during the 1990s and still do.
I own three of these and for anyone who knows me, that should be enough said.
The Kahn figure is excellent, a great likeness and good quality craftmanship. Honestly, some of the orignal Mego figures aren't as well done as Kahn. A Great job by EMCE!
