    I'm happy with Khan.
OK, I might have preferred a thicker material for the jump suit, or even using his gold ceremonial jacket, but Khan was a welcome addition.

He remains a homicidal maniac, but apart from that, he's OK in my book....

Do I think Rumsfeld is a war criminal? Yes.
traditionally exclusives cost more and are deluxe versions of something, that being said, they should have paid you more for it, knowing time and money was an issue makes all the difference. My good DR, i will continue to buy em all! and hope you were not insulted by me pointing out my issues with the figure.

Love my Khan! Never thought I'd see him in a Mego style. I would have loved to have had him in the 70's. EMCE is doing a great job. If you want high detail and quality, go to a company like Hot Toys. If you love Megos, EMCE is a dream come true.

    Keep them coming

Well put Jim. That's what I would have said. You just said it much nicer.

What most people don't realize is that producing overseas carries clout when you're producing 50,000 or 100,000 pieces. It's difficult to do when producing 3,000. More so the big toy producing companies aren't out sourcing, they own the factories, so they control every aspect and actually have a person right there on the line to make adjustments. If most of you knew the insides of EMCE producing figures overseas, you wouldn't even consider going through the trouble to do what Doc and Joe have under taken. To say it's a labor of love is an understatement. So some of the first run trek figures had silver bands. If Mego had done that we'd all be paying $250.00 for a MOC silver band Spock variation. In 20 years you might sit and stare at it and think how lucky you were to get one at suggested retail. If you're unhappy with Kahn, get rid of it. Sell it on ebay, or post it in the marketplace or throw it away. It'll make someone else happy. It's easy to be reactive, be proactive. Get a contact in China, call Diamond and say you want to produce a Khan figure, fly all over to make the contacts, invest the money to get the tooling done, pay for the rights, pay someone to do a sculpt, pay someone to do a suit mock up, send the prototypes back and forth, and then distribute it. Piece of cake. Then we'll see how they match up.....Well... We're waiting...I thought so. Wether it was the big guys like Hasbro and Toy Biz or EMCE and Castaway, my thanks go to anyone that took the chance and effort to keep it going for this generation.

Well said. There is definitely something special about what constitutes a "Mego" style (as distinguished from a flashier, more accurate, but non-Mego "Charlie Flatt" style). And I think Khan fits in just fine.

BUT keep em coming, there are always figures that fall short in every collection, but a few bad apples will not ruin this bunch!!!

I'm also using Khan's head sculpt for another custom figure..........He's called Tonto! I have two Khan figures both painted by Jessica.

I think Khan is great! If Mego itself had made him, I doubt they would have done much differently.
