Is the Emcee Uhura a faithful reproduction of the Mego? On the Diamond website, she looks BETTER than mine/the original.

Just wondering if they altered her face or hair. She looks very good. Better, as I said.

My mini-review of EMCE Uhura here, with pictures.

While very faithful to the original, Docs Uhura is improved, mainly body wise. I have a bunch of EMCE's and Mego Uhuras....and I still cant put my finger on exactly what it is, but the head sculpt itself looks better too. Might be the hair (which is "cleaner" than the Mego cut/style).

The only issue I have with the EMCE female bodies is the elastics may be a tad too tight. On some of the bodies this causes the right arm (for some reason never the left) to want to pull back a bit. No big deal in my book.

I bought a few boxes of the series Uhura + Mugato. A very large part of my Uhura had his head turned backward or sideways in the best case. This is not a problem if you open the blister.
