Phaser belt/Black Phasers and Tricorders/Improvements?

I'm not sure where to post this.

But since Emcee is improving on the Mego line by adding Chekov and Sulu et al, are there any plans to do something like "fix" the weapon belt so that the Comm is in the back instead of the front?

This has bothered me for 32 years...

And could the Phasers be made in Black so we could hit them with some Silver paint and make them more accurate? And the Tricorders? And could the Tricorder strap be a bit larger/longer? I don't have an Emcee yet but I know I broke most of my Tricorder straps back in the day partly because they were too short.

I think I fixed one with Black Thread which was cool. That may have been my first custom...

Just a few thoughts.

OOH. Could the Badges be Gold with the symbols instead of Silver and plain?

Any thoughts? Has this been brought up elsewhere? I am planning to acquire the Emcee line. Is the first phase now out of production? Is there a thread on that? Would it be a good idea to have a thread called "Active Emcee" so I'd know for example that Kirk could still be ordered or if I had to find one on eBay or buy it off someone? It would have to be a thread/post/sticky updated with what is in production at the time.

I'm sorry I'm not up on this. But I'll try to catch up as fast as I can.

Speaking of which... now that the Bridge is out, are there any plans to sell a Bridge with the Crew? Kirk/Spock/McCoy/Uhura/Scotty/Chekov/Sulu?

Did Mego release such a set with what they had? It would help me to buy such a set since I'm this far behind the curve.

Has production been halted on the first wave or could they crank up and make more of anything at this point?

That's good to know, I might order some just to paint up, though I'm partial to the Blue and Red versions, always thought they were cool.

Cool! I know in the past he told me he didn't do black. But that may have been over 2yrs ago...

Once you go black you won't go back. At least that is what I have heard anyway. I myself would not want to ruin a perfectly good vintage phaser by painting it black. Then again that is me and to each their own.

I painres a few of DOC'S blue phasers coms and tricorders black/silver and they look great in the figures hands but lose the effect when worn on the belt

That is more or less the same issue that I have found as well. The phaser blends to much into the belt unless you add some silver fine touches to the phaser.

Boy - I don't miss hand casting phasers and comm. and don't even get me

the same price as the blue and red ones.
