They are back to Andorian only now. Wow. Thanks Monk! I got lucky. I can't wait to have my 10 Red shirts put the drop on the 5 Klingons...

I just placed an order for some Andorians. Afterward, I tried to get another and it said they are unavailable.Comment

I think somebody screwed up at FAO.com - the website now will not let you
go to the Star Trek page.

Let us know if you get your figures for $4.99 - I will be visiting the store
in Manhattan on Sunday to see this for myself.Comment

I looked up their locations and they said they had one here in Portland inside of Macy's. I had never remember seeing it before, so I went over there and it was a joke. It was like two short walls of stuffed animals and wooden blocks. Of course they didn't have any Trek figures.

If you search FAO.com for "retro cloth" a few figures show up, but none of them are available.Comment

They opened over 200 stores inside Macys in the fall. Most were placed in low visible areas near the Childrens clothing sections. All the product there was geared to the younger crowd. As of May 30th, all employees are being let go and the stores inside Macys are going to be run by Macys employees. I know this because I am one of the people being let go. Not all shops had staff. There were 1000 sq foot shops and 300 sq foot shops. Sounds like you had a 300 sq foot shop. Those were unstaffed since the beginning.I looked up their locations and they said they had one here in Portland inside of Macy's. Wow, sorry to hear about your job. I know its tough out there, good luck in finding a new gig. When I was there (F.A.O) last Thursday they were going for $9 each and they had a huge selection. I'll probably will check early next week to see if they went down some since then. Comment

Don't worry about it. I knew it was coming when they cut our hours in half. I was hoping it would last through the summer. Would have worked out ok with the kids out of school. Oh well. The New York, Vegas, and the FAO in Macys in Chicago are staying open with full staffs. Probably the website also.

For people that have been to the main store in New York, what other action figures do they have there? I know the website had some 13" DC Direct figures around Christmas time. Just curious.Comment

I saw alot of those...DCD 13" Bizarro,Green Lantern, Joker, and others. The F.A.O here in New York is fully loaded in all their Departments. I find my self hanging about more often in the Breyer section. Those 1/9 scale horses (in their variety) look extremely attractive for my Mego Western collection. This store in Midtown Manhattan resembles a "Disney land village" if you will.... Always full of tourist and customers. No, I don't think this one will close down anytime soon.Don't worry about it. I did get to FAO in Manhattan on Sunday afternoon - and looted it like
a Visigoth! No Kirks or Klingons, no Chekovs or Sulus, no Gorns or
Mugatos - just McCoy, Scotty, Keeper, and some Andorians.

I cleaned them out of Romulans for Steve Moore for something he is
doing for Mego Meet - which I will be attending after all. My trip to
China has been pushed back due to Swine Flu fear so off to Wheeling
 I go.Comment

I'm glad you'll get to attend, but it sucks that your trip has been pushed back. Thanks for covering me on the Rommies. I was just thinking the other day that MM wouldn't be the same without you and your giant bin of heads.I did get to FAO in Manhattan on Sunday afternoon - and looted it like

 You Go Doc!

I just have to say that I'm glad Doc made it to loot the store and I am sure he didn't burn anything on his way out...I did get to FAO in Manhattan on Sunday afternoon - and looted it like

Did Visigoths burn stuff? I may be thinking of Vikings. Anyway, sorry I can't go to Mego Meet, but if you guys produce another DVD with cool tips/seminars on it, I may want it. I'll check the one I have. OK, it is 2004. I found it. It was great. I'll watch it again before I try to paint DeSalle.

And I will venture to say that not only would Mego Meet not be the same without Doc Mego. But our Planet Earth would be poorer without him as well.

God bless Doc Mego! Mego's are the best!
