I finally picked up a Gorn today. This thing is awesome! Great job all around. I also saw the new Enterprise. If I didn't have an original one, I probably would have picked it up.

I got my Gorn Friday. Looking him over, his top is cut WAY asymetrical -- not even close in design on the left compared to the right.
Are they all like this, or did I get "lucky"? -
Mine is out of whack, too. Too bad the costume didn't match the card photo. The arm gauntlets are really bad.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

The card photo is my hand sewn prototype (although I take no credit for the gauntlets!). It was always the intent to find a more accurate looking material in china. Not sure what the deal is with the asymentrical cuts. I have three of these and they are all cut just fine.Comment

Not complaining, Dave, but curious if it was on purpose or just a really bad day on the sewing machine in China.
I was trying to "straighten" the figure's costume when I took him out of the clamshell and I saw it was the cut of the suit and not just the way it was bunched up in the packaging. Looking at the figure straight-on, on the left the arm opening is almost a right angle (straight down from the neck, then straight across under the arm), while on the right the opening is a diagonal line running from the neck to under the arm.
I love the sculpting -- the head and legs are awesome. And the suit's fabric is more show-accurate in a wonderfully mego-y way. I was just wondering if the suit reflected some very show-accurate detail I'd always missed or jsut too many Tiger beers at lunch that day at the factory . . . plus I know you guys are usually interested for QC purposes.Comment

Far be it from us to come between a man and his Gorn!!
Still waiting for mine to arrive (and I hear he's bringing friends too.).
Complications or not, I am SURE I will be happy with the Gorn as an addition to "the collection." So I'm just haunting the mailbox....Comment
