Body Color Question...

I know they're on a slow boat from China (couldn't help it, sorry...) but I love the bodies you guys put out, and I need to pick up more.

I was just curious if the Dark Blue has done all right for you, because I would think that would be a more limited use item...

The reason I ask is I'd really like to see a Silver tone body. I'm sure it'd be niche use too, but with all the Silver Surfers, Colossus (Colossi?) and Steels, Terminators, SMDM, etc of the world I'd have to imagine it would get some use.

Silver huh? Never really thought about myself, but it does make good sense. We have had a pretty good relationship with our factory in terms of MOQ (minimum order quantity), so I can say nothings off the table, but that's no gaurantee either.

Silver body would be great! Captain Atom. Silver Surfer. Bulletman. ROM. Space Glider from the Micronauts.

But it's not just about that. I'm AR enough to want the body color underneath to match the theme of the figure... Just like Human Torch, Thing, etc etc.

Plus it'd be cool for swapping body parts out, like brown and silver under a Cyborg suit. Or a silver arm with a caucasian flesh sleeve over it for a SMDM. Maybe not everyone would do it, but I would want to.
Also, you don't have gripper hands in silver without a silver body. So yeah, a suit is fine and all, but for hands you're stuck with over gloves or painted casts or WOZ Tinman hands. People like "upgrading."

Besides, that logic would also make every color that Cast-A-Way has produced "a waste." That's why I brought up how the dark blue may have done.

Well, for me...the colored Bodies are "mostly" for the Hands. dark blue Batman, light blue Andorian, red Spiderman, etc...

With the exception of Characters that some flesh shows...like The Gorn.

How about this; if they are ever produced and turn out to be a giant suck of an idea, then everyone has me to blame. As penance for my crime I should be mailed the leftover dead stock to stare at while I consider what I've done (and assemble my Cylon army).
