I completely respect that you are closing shop. I've always admired these. They look so professional, so fun, and so appropriate to the toys for which they were designed. Looks like a lot of love went into them. You should walk away feeling proud of what you were able to accomplish. Well done!Comment

Awwww...
That's really ashame, Scott. I really love my Batcave, my POTA tri-box, my Superfriends tri-box, my carrying case and the tri-fold walls I have yet to make something with I remember seeing a lot of these on display at your house, and pounding my fingers helping you assemble the first playsets in my backyard. It's been a groovy run. I hope you continue to make your artwork available to us. Thanks for bringing the fun back into our collections. Your Dida would be proud."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

Scott.....this saddens me. I was too damn cheap in the past and my regrets of not buying the Legion Of Doom and POTA sets will haunt me.Comment

They were expensive, no doubt. It's kind of miraculous I sold off all the stock--twice--but they had a good following.
The other part of it was the investment of space. Not everyone can commit to that kind of real estate. Always the problem with play sets. This profile is no longer active.Comment

I want to echo the sentiment of many others here. Your playsets made my eyes bug out and brought many smiles to my face. I too, must live with the regret of not ordering the Enterprise, Apes, L.O.D. , and Superfriends playsets. Enjoy your semi retirement Scott. I hope FTC comes a calling!I post in thy general direction!Comment

I am in mourning.
I owe these creations all to you Scott...
I went to my mother's house for Christmas this year; the house I grew up in. I found a box of old Betamax video cassettes and an old player in her attic. I hooked it up to her TV and spent the day viewing old TV shows and commercials from my youth. To my wonder I found this old commercial on one of those old videotapes:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Peace, Love, and Dida!

If I won the lottery, my 1st stop was always meant to be DIDA! I wanted at the VERY least; the FULL Sized ENTERPRISE with Transporter room. The full Wayne Manor (STATELY CAVERNS). The LOD. ANY DC related creation & if I ever found a good deal on the EMCE Soldier Apes, Cornelius & Dr. Zaius + Mego Astronaut, Alan Verdon, Peter Burke, General Urko & Ursus & Galen (I only have EMCE Zira).....I would have bought the POTA stuff too! Oh well, I can hope FTC actually does well w/ the BATCAVE & produces more stuff, but the DIDA displays were a work of ART & RETRO BEAUTY!Comment

I drooled over the LOD playset many a time, but pretty much like you said could never figure out the space for it.Comment
