When I rebuilt my toyroom four years ago, I had so much more room and maybe one remego figure in this space (the CastAWay Phantom) now their ranks have gotten a bit ....unnerving. They're taking over!

I've said it before I have more re-megos than I do original megos!!!.......@##$%$$#@@!!@
This year will be a killer for sure...LOL
THAT my friend is a valid consideration I should look at for myself. I have so many retro figures since Famous Covers started 15 years ago, I must surely have surpassed my original Megos by now. I think the bigger question is whether my retros have surpassed both my vintage Megos AND vintage Mego knock offs! There's a lot of stuff out there. And the scary part is I've passed on alot of stuff as well. I think the sheer volume of Mego-style offerings more than wipe the heydays of Mego and similar scale lines. Incredible.
Wonderful shot !, these are such a good way to get a Mego fix, if U cant find/afford the real thing. Just to think there were no new licences 5 years ago for this format, and now this explosion, WOW.
Hey Brian. Who made that BOTP/Gatchaman (Jason) figure on the left hand side of the pic? That looks really nice. BTW that whole collection looks impressive. Nice to see Colonel Austin proudly displayed with your troops.
Jealous!!!! Since I found this group I went from 5 POTA childhood mego's to about 110, I have had to sell off alot of my other collections in my room (Comics, Dakin Tv theatre,Tomy Robots). all mine are in boxes until I can get the room cleaned up.
I know the feeling! The re-mego shelf in my Mego case is undoubted the fullest. I'm thinking I may have to spread these guys into the real Mego displays (gasp!).
Luckily IKEA still cranks out plenty of Detolf cases for us!
That's a good problem to have. Seems like only about 5 or 6 years ago I would pick up almost any Mego-like figure I found, now I actually have to be more selective, but am able to pick up some very cool characters from both the past and present.
