New light brown 8 inch body at CTVT

They have added an 8 inch light brown body and it looks to be new and improved.
Although, they have not added a new caucasian body yet. I wonder if they are still waiting to sell out the old ones first.

I hope it's just the picture but his left arm(right side of picture) the wrist is not popped in all the way.
Possible problem or just not assembled all the way?
The color is perfect though.I hope they are not as brittle as the old ones.

I contacted CTVT, and asked if they will be offering the new body in caucasian color, and the answer was:
"Soon" !

My experiences with CTVT screams 'let the buyer beware'. I would never order a body from these guys. It's bound to have issues with either the quality of plastic, being strung too tight or being f***ed up in some other way. Doc Mego is the way to go.

Doc should consider making the 12 inch bodies, as well as the fat bodies, and green girl bodies.

About the only thing I buy from CTVT anymore are tights and clothes for my girls. And even then, they have a very small selection of that.

The boots and shoes for girls are of atrocious quality, and split at the slightest pressure.

From the looks of that new body, the only thing that looks new is the pelvis while everything else is the same.

Same old wheel, slightly different look.

Not really tempting enough to get me to buy any bodies from them.

They ask for opinions, and then ignore them.

If they truly aren't that interested in what we want to buy, why do they ask?

CTVT has their My Face on a Figure thing. I suspect the new body is to provide more options for non-Caucasians making custom figures of themselves or their family or whatnot. That seems like a good idea to me.

As for all the rest of it... they seem to putting out rotocast heads, clothes, boots, accessories. I would be surprised if these new product offerings didn't come directly from feedback from their customers. "Gee, I love your new hulk body... wouldn't it be great if you also sold the pants?"

That remains to be seen. Someone needs to order one!

Oh no, it's the hulk body issue all over again. lol
fallensaviour, I think so. This is very common with CTVT. I assume that these photos are cut and altered. It's possible that the wrist pin/hole isn't a fit perfect, and the clean-up artist didn't help. I'm only WAGing here, because the upper torso waist plug looks strangly thin.

^^ The torso looks the same as before and the one's I have from CTVT have the same thin looking issue.

Looking at the photo, it looks as if nothing has changed other than the pelvis. The biceps and forearms still look small compared to the torso.

IMO the chest looks a lot more like an original Mego design. Their older bodies had more prominent abs and a different design.
Hopefully if it is more of a Mego replica than their old bodies, it will be taller too.

^^From a production cost perspective, it makes sense to just retool a small part such as the pelvis than to completely retool all the parts.
Bottom line, it's still the same body as before other than the new pelvis. Curious to know if the material quality is the same.

We will know soon enough once these start landing in our hands.
