Mego Collectors, get ready. Figures Toy Company is about to release 8 inch Mad Monster Figures in our new removable clamshell packaging. These figures will have cloth clothing and 16 points of articulation. The Mad Monster Castle playset was replicated from an original 1974 Mad Monster Castle playset made by The Mego Toy Company. Mad Monster figures and playset are limited edition and will only see one production run. Mad Monster figures will retail for $14.99 each and the Mad Monster Castle playset will sell for $69.99 and only be available thru our websites www.classictvtoys.com , www.figurestoycompany.com and www.wrestlingsuperstore.com starting August 28th. CFO Anthony Balasco states, “This will be the first time collectors will be able to afford and obtain a Mad Monster Playset that so closely resembles the original Mego playset that sells for over $800.00 when you can actually find one."

Wow seems to be an understatement. Not sure how I fell about them making the playset since I have a Mego one.

Quality is going to be key. Even if these are limited run they are still rather pricey if the bodies and other issues have not been corrected. Fingers crossed though.

Hulk bodies in colors! Dang questin is, are they as tall as drmego hulk bodies? I notice they do not have articulated hands and feet, so I'd say they are recasts of the classic Mego hulk body.
