I really am super excited by these. Mainly because they (for obvious reasons I guess) have a serious "real" Mego vibe. Considering the look of the comic characters and how well they translate into the real world with re-purposed Mego parts seems like something Mego itself would have done. Such as with the Knights, Monsters, Robin Hood.

Plus for Jay to find a good use for the blonde "Dick" head is commendable in and of itself.

great idea, I was wondering if anyone would take a Mego shot at public domain comic characters.

Interesting to use public domain characters to profit an organization out to support and protect comic creators. Kind of ironic.

But a good idea, and some nice looking figures.

I don't think the Black Bat had ears, though.

On their website they have other figures like Jack Danger and the Red Panther. I may go for one of those.

How did i miss this post 6 months ago? I like the idea of using Public domain characters and better yet to help the creators.
