I was looking at their custom figures and wondering are the bodies on them still garbage or are they improved?

Well, IMHO there are still issues with there bodies. The rubber bands are usualy still tight making the legs stay together but that's fixable. I just ordered a yellow male body and when I got the package they had included an extra yellow body - unfortunately one and a broken right hand and the other had 2 left hands attached and on one of the figures the upper part of the left leg was really the upper right turned around
The good news is that I called them and with no questions asked they are going to send either some hands or another body. They have good customer service, it's just a shame that they have to "fix" these problems after the fact.

If only CTVT could produce items in China, I suppose the quality would be better.

No "slightly" about it, my friend.
The only thing I bought from them lately were tights, shoes and dresses.
And THEN, the tights are cut too baggy, which is not a good look.JediJaidaComment

Hmmmm....
The multi-colour and glow bodies are pretty good, the caucasian ones a mixed bag, the female ones quite poor.

They had a steep learning curve with their product. Later bodies weren't too bad, but earlier ones blew. Even now, you can expect a few cracked feet and hands. If you're making customs that's not neccessarily a problem: I can run hands and feet myself, and the prices are super-low.

I have delt with CTVT a number of times and have always been happy, I had one issue with a fugure,, and they sent me a new one,,,its a good company, I could not do any better,,I am MEGO CRAZZZYYY !!!Comment

the Kid and Lion Rock size bodies are much better than the male and females.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

first off you always have to restring them. my biggest problem has been with joints being to loose at the wrist.
they are o.k. i think. i like being able to get classic mego figures for cheap. you can always pop off the head and clothes and put them on a much better dr. mego and it will look great.

Their clothes are pretty good, but you have to be careful of the male pants. The last couple of suits I ordered, the pants seemed way too short! I had to buy socks to go under them to avoid showing off the ankles.
