Batman

Have a question I was on ebay and stumbled on this Batman figure but the card was different I think its the won they sold only in Germany anybody ever heard of this one and is more raee then the Kidz Biz version.

That is the Bikin version, actually sold or made in Belgium, and isn't particularly rare either, although probably less common than the KidBiz one.

I don't have a whole lot of Super Hero toys but I do have that figure. The body is kinda squat, but other than that it is pretty nice. I always meant to put him on a Mego body but never got a round to it.

Toybiz made those. They were larger than 3 3/4.

A friend of mine sent that figure to me as a gift in 1990 she knew I was a big Batman fan...never bothered to take mine out of the package..shame they never made a Joker to go with it.

The body is pretty awful and he's a bit shorter than the original mego body. But I found a loose one for five bucks at a comic shop a few years back. The awesome accessories were easily worth that. Add a Mego scale head cast from a keychain, a chips body, and a custom made suit(the Bikin one was way too loose) and voila! The guy that is posing with Chris Reeve in my sig pic!

I megofied mine as well, but the head plug didn't fit well in the neck hole. (too tight) I ended up opening the neck hole a bit. Looks good now. I agree about the accessories the cape and boots are worth the price alone. The body is the pits, and the costume is decent. The gauntlet type cuffs look great with a mego.

the reason toybiz did not do more DC figures was that Marval bought them out along with fleer. I loved my toy biz green lantren... They did it to control the card market and to take away a market for DC action figures. Thats why the DC cards stopped and figures Now with DC diret their problem is solved....
