I bought one. He was pretty durable until my 3 year old got his hands on him, dropped him, stepped on him, and broke his pelvis. Luckily he had only broken the glue bonding the two halves together. Glued him back together and I still have him. I think they're cool, and they're pretty posable, but the arms seem a little long. I extended the spine which made the arms seem correct, but now he's taller than my other "Megos". The skeleton could use some "aging" or "weathering" or whatever and he'd look alot better.
All in all, I like the CTVT skeletons. I need to get some more.
I have to disagree with Z3ZEP, I bought one, and its awsome, body is cool, really cool, the head is nice, can do with out the fangs on it , but the figure is really nice, I suggest you but 1 or more, it is a cool figure.
I got one, and it was cool, but the glue binding the pelvis gave way, and my re-gluing failed too. Now he's just a bag of bones in my parts bin.
They're a nice design and a bang-on nice idea, but they've got a lot of the QC issues most of CTVT's products seem to have. Buy it cheap or as part of a larger order, and be prepared to give it some workbench time to really make it shine.
I'd adore some of their BLACK [not negro] bodies, yet they only sell them in packs of useless other colours. And thet refuse to mail to australia. I need some for Julius customs [the gorilla jail guard p.o.t.a], I'm selling/trading so MANY of them and I'd dig some black hands to match the Ursus heads I'm using [photo's in the "members categories" section]. Plus, they are creeps to deal with, even had some one stateside try to order for me, to no avail.
I got a bunch of skeletons. They're really neat, but the spine sometimes pops out if you play with them too much. (It'll pop back in.) I had a pelvis pop too. The legs are hinged in pretty tight and if you try to make one sit it'll split the pelvis. A couple drops of superglue fix it right up.
I bought a lot of 10. Seven of them are fine, three of them snapped at the pelvis when trying to pose them at the top leg joint. A little glue and they are as good as new.
