Just a quick update to let you know that I have been working on the MVDB a bit. There may be a couple of broken links for now as I am moving some pictures around. I hope to have this fixed in the next couple of days.
In the mean time here is a couple of more cool rides that I found for Spidey and The Thing.
More info coming soon.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
Sorry. Posted this in Customs. Should'a posted it here. I did some searching online. This is the only mail order place in the U.S. that has those wooden motorcycles at a decent price. These differ a little from mine but seem to be the same overall. They even have a metal one:
If you want the style of wooden motorcycle I mentioned earlier in the motorcycle thread in customs, the Kruger Street Toy Museum has them, (where we have Mego Meet every year). You might inquire with him about mail order.
I meant to grab this over the weekend. IMO, it's the perfect Cap vehicle, which when you consider when it was made, was partially what they were aiming it towards.
I have all versions it make a good daisy duke Jeep.
I even have the classic jeep eagle hood sticker I have find someone to reproduce it for me.

Check dis!!! Working on the assumption that since Tonka made vehicles in the 1/6 scale to sell to the GI Joe market. I began to search for items they might have aimed for the Mego market. "Tonka 1979 Pick up truck"
Cant really figure what vehicle line they were basing it on. But I'm not really a car guy like that.
The truck's got a real solid look to it. I'm using a standard AJ and a redux spa Dinah. CTVT female and Doc Mego Supergal head.
Cab shot here shows the figures fit perfect. AJ seats easily and doesnt have to stretch to grab the steering wheel.
Next up is ToyBiz 2002 Spidey Chopper.
Didnt know of this until I found it at the thrift store. I dont know what figure came with this originally. But the scale is so darn Mego.

Keeping the Dream going!!! or maybe just the thread
Mock Dinah and Don are heading out in there new jeep.
Wanted to get this posted before I start Pimping it out. Year of production or copyright is not present. Maker of this little jem is Duncan yep. The yo-yo guys. It is the exact logo they use today. By the fit of the Mego's, I'd say if the timelines match up. These were definately made to cash in on Mego's thunder.

I'm getting a lot of 'photo deleted or moved' from these posts. Also the ebay links won't hold forever.
Anyone thought of a central spot for all pics to be placed where they can be accessed and added to by all members interested?
Just a thought.

A long time ago I bought this Batman vehicle set at a Thrift Store for $3.00. When I started to collect Megos, and play with them, with my kids, we began using these vehicles for Mego Batman and Robin. There are a few parts missing but that doesn't take away from the fun!
Wow, I love Batman in that Batmobile! It looks perfectly out of scale (if that makes sense)... as if Mego was still making accessories when the Burton film came out. Did you have to do anything to make the legs fit?
