Check out this complete set of Paco Mortal Kombat knockoffs.

I've never seen the whole set. These are so rare that I'd consider them if I had the money to spend.

I'd be happy with castings of the heads on Zica or CAW bodies.

Wow! So cool. Didn't think Mortal Kombat would have collector's rabid enough to be paying such crazy prices.

Yes they are cool, but no way are they worth that kind of money. Boley toys still had most of the Paco lines available as early as 2000. Paco (or Global Nationale or whatever the new name is?) , as Castaway can attest, could still easily produce any of these lines...and if the 8" stuff takes off again (as it appears set to) I wouldnt be surprised to see any or all of the Paco lines hanging on a peg in the local drugstore one day.

Why are they so Hard to get ?
... Where are they all ? .... No Toy in 2000 + is that hard to get, or that spendy , unless it's some sorta Variant, Exclusive or something of that Nature.

...or no retailers ordered them, which is why Boley quit importing the Paco stuff. I think they still listed the Mighty Team guys on there web-site not too long ago.

I'm not saying these arent rare Jason....I just cant believe figures that sold for 6-7 bucks a piece in the nineties are running at 1000 bucks for a set now. Not these things anyways. However, to each their own.

I would have been all over them had I not found Scorpion MOC a couple months back for $30 and seen Goro sell for $18 on ebay and it was properly listed!

Turns out these figs were selling all the time in the USA and in Mexico.
But they were sold in Videogame stores, and went under our radar, as we were not buying the latest games at the time. We were looking in the wrong places.

I know they will start showing up more often when the kids who bought them start having garage sales.
                      Cheers,

There used to be this very short lived Shop down the street from my house...
They Sold a bunch of Knock Off Stuff ...., You Know, like the Korean Devastator Transformer for 10 bucks, The One that Breaks in your Hand when you open Him ....

I bet these were sold in stores like that, for 5 bucks a Piece or something less.

That just breaks my heart. I picked up a bunch of the Hip Yick Ninjas in a cheap-as import shop in Santa Barbara in 1998, but they never had any 8" Pacos. Never saw them at Game stores either. Never saw them no place.

If I had seen those ebay auctions, though... they might've gone higher.
