For those looking for volunteer figures to customize, I just saw the Marvel Legends Signature series figures on clearance at my local Target for $4.98. They're a little bigger than Mego's but for five bucks it's hard to beat. Hope this helps someone out.

I got my son one this weekend for $2.48. They had a ton of them on an end cap in Lexington, KY Target.

Clearly there was a marketing screw up here and I bet Hasbro is not pleased with the fact Target is running a new item at 50% of it's suggested shelf price.

I'm not exactly for sure how the toy/retail biz works---- but I'd think Target would
be the ones that were angry that they had to reduce the price...most likely from a
Hasbro screw up

Well in Louisville, the Sandman is being sold at the discount price of $4.98. Wow! Found three of them at a local Target in the discount isle. It's crazy! We waited all summer for this figure and then Target puts him out discounted. Clearly there was a marketing screw up here and I bet Hasbro is not pleased with the fact Target is running a new item at 50% of it's suggested shelf price. At that price I couldn't resist, so I picked up two.

Still can't figure Target out. They clearanced the 10" JLU figures at mine a while back then two weeks later they restocked the shelves with the Atom/GA cases at full price. They had like 40 figures out which was more than they had before the clearance and 10 days later I go in and there's nothing left, so I ask the kid in the toy dept. and he tells me they marked em to 90% off and one guy bought em all at once. Is there some system in place here? I can't complain cuz I bought the first Sig. Series figures for less than $4.00 a piece and I'll probably grab another Sandman and a Cyclops or two even though I'm not really sold on the sculpt/costume they use for Cyclops. I wish Hasbro would hire some Comic/Toy collectors to make they're design/character selections for them. Sales would probably be better, which would result in longer line runs, and happiness for everyone.

What's even weirder is that the Target near me is clearing out Sandman, which I think just came out a week or two ago. He's also $4.98.
