New lines you are looking forward to the most?

Which lines are you wanting the most from all the new 8" stuff coming out? There are so many planned figures coming out soon it is a little overwhelming to think about how much will be spent on new Mego style figures in the next couple years.
I'm really wanting to pick up the new Venture Bros., Star Trek, Buck Rogers, and Flash Gordon Lines.
The DC figures are kind of cool, but the bodies and costume material really need to be better in future releases.

Because of the shipping price I'm gonna limit myself to Mattel's Batman and Two-Face, the Universal Monsters and Super Collector and Brick.
I'd buy more, but with a shipping price that's almost as high as a figure itself it ain't fun anymore being a collector outside the US
I definitely would've bought Dark Shadows as well and maybe Flash Gordon and some Twilight Zones, but unless I find these closer to home I'm gonna have to pass. And I believe there are some exclusives with these lines, which will be impossible to get unless you pay double the price on eBay

I dont blame you Meule, I order a lot of stuff from Japan and China and shipping costs be ridiculous. Exclusives can really suck when they do things like they did with the Big Lebowski figures, making the Dude in the bath robe with the rug an exclusive. Basically the "must have" or only figure in the collection a lot of people would want.

I want the all, Im just worried at the pace everything will be released, will I keep up!. Im looking forward to the ghostbusters line, hoping they will release some cool monsters, playsets and ecto 1.

Hmmmm....

Just as when I was a kid, I"m always looking for new characters to add to the team. That being said, yeah' the new ones are a little pricey, but I'm thinkin' that'll come down if the format takes off again. (Since everyone will already have the bodies in production. Maybe then we'd see some more obscure lines?) BUt there are some I"m really looking forward to:

-I gotta get a Ming. He's movie AND comic perfect!
-Gotta get a Brick, too. (He'll go well with my custom Count Dante and Jim Kelly.)
-Scott Ian is a must
-The Ghostbusters are high on my want list, as is Dark Shadows, and any other monsters they feel like making.

I will more than likely be collecting all of the Twilight Zone and Dark Shadows figures. With Mattel's Retro-Action I will be selective. Super Collector/Brick Mantooth is a must have. Lost I'll have to wait and see final product to determine how much I will buy, but at least John Locke seems like a shoo-in. Venture Bros are VERY appealing. With Flash Gordon, Big Lebowski, Dexter I have absolutely no interest. Hoping for some Castaway Joes also. Oh and the Wolfman from the Universal Monsters line.

Big Lebowski Dude, Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers are my 'must haves'. The Mattel heroes I will be selective on this time to see if quality issues were addressed and if the final product (head sculpts and costumes) are better than the prototypes. I might wait for the prices to go down and buy off Ebay later if the results are mixed. Dark Shadows looks fun, so I'll shop a good price on those and I'll be interested to see final product on the Universal monster figures out this fall as well. Hope they get them out in time for Halloween.

I think I'm most looking forward to Buck Rogers. I'm expecting great things from all of the production samples I've seen, and I'm expecting the detail on these figures to be outstanding, and I have big warm nostalgia fuzzies for the property.

Plus the new Zica body is great.

As far as what I would put money on and buy, A Dude, Venture Bro's and a Brick top the List ...
Outside of that, I guess I have to see how much money I have, and what stuff looks like. Real interested in a Hawk and Buck too perhaps.
