    Hasbro 8" Ironman figure

Found this at "Family Dollar" store. It has hardly any articulation. pivot shoulder and hips and ball joint head. I'd say the only connection to mego is the hieght. Just shy of 8 inches. Its more like a statue than an action figure.

I have been looking for these everywhere and seen them nowhere (except online). They're in Dollar stores already? Sheesh.

There's another thread on the board somewhere about them - Wrathdemon bought one and did an analysis. Looks pretty good for custom fodder, especially the War Machine one.

That's the only place I've seen these but they are plentiful here, Family Dollar stores and Dollar General Stores. Ten bucks a pop. They're cheaper than the 6 inch Wal-Mart exclusives which are running 13 dollars plus each, but they come with tons of extras like hands, weapons, stands and such. Like 6 inch versions of DC direct Iron Man 2 toys they are I tells ya!

There's another post about him here somewhere, he looks too skinny for my tastes

They are already in Mexico, since a few weeks ago... I was just about to get mine, but then I found a feature describing its failures in proportion, compared to Mego scale... I'm still doubtful on whether or not to give it a try... I think it'd need a great amount of modifications to fit a body inside that, but, nonetheless, the sculpture just looks great... Anybody else out there attempting adaptations from this figure?

I'd like to, but I haven't seen any at retail yet. I'll start looking in Dollar Generals and Family Dollars.
