    CTVT "spacesuit" question

I was looking at the CTVT website and I can't tell what type of material their "spacesuits" are made of... (This applies to both the white one and the orange one...)

Did anyone here buy these and if so, what are they made of? Also, how well do they fit? I know some CTVT clothes don't fit well and I was wondering if these do?

Also, if there's an issue of them being ill-fitting, is there any overall difference in how they'd fit on a T-1 body compared to a T-2?

Yeah the material is very nylon-like similar to what you see with some umbrellas or rain coats. As for sizing that's tough to predict. I own the entire Space 1999 line and the fit of the costumes is all over the place. Some are way terrible, others are close to perfect. Well, as much as CTVT gets. My space suits are in the not too bad range. They are a little baggy but they are space suits. Not really sure that the difference is base bodies would matter.

I bought the orange, full 1999 space suit with Alan Carter. It takes a lot of tweaking to make it nice, but it's worth the $5 or so the thing costs anymore.

I replaced the pre-broken CTVT body with a Doc Mego body, which is a little bigger (CTVT bodies are a little undersized). The suit fit was tight, but not unmanageably so.

The decals do NOT stick to the suit material very well. The helmet collar also doesn't stay on well. I strapped mine to the shoulder straps of the backpack with that clear thin band material some toy accessories are packed with.

I tried to put in a $100 order with them, since I am in the States (and they don't ship internationally). Tried checkout several times with no luck and finally wrote to them. No answer = no business.

I ordered from them recently and it took me about four tries to get the checkout to work, but it did eventually work. I'd say try again; you'll definitely get the items by the end of the week if you order today.

I have bought many, many items from CTVT and I have never had any problems,I have bought many figures and accessories, yes, the figures are a bit smaller and sometimes they break, but I think they are just fine, I have bought many figures, loose, carded, boxed and I am happy.
When I did have a problem in the pst, CTVT has helped me in a very timely manner, communication is fast and the shipping is also super fast.
I recommend them all the time.

I also own the complete Space 1999 line both CTV and Palitoy. The only thin g wrong with the Space suit in my opinion is that the pants are supose to go over the boots (like the show) and not in them,..when i try to correct this,..they are so tight that it wont slide down over the boots,..bummer. The rest is OK IMO.

I love those space suits. I must have at least ten of them. They are great to dye.

Are the space suited Morrow and Carter the only ones that came boxed, like the vintage Mego window boxes?
