We're getting inundated with new Mego-like lines... I just don't think I can keep buying at this rate without putting my family in the poorhouse.

It's a neat problem to have, but boy I wish it hadn't happened in the midst of a recession!

I spend too much on vintage Megos to be purchasing any new Mego-like figures. There are a handful I wont be able to pass up though.

me too. The retro hereoes line, if I can find them. The Lost line, becasue it's the coolest show ever, and probably Flash and Ming because they are so well done....oh yeah and at least some of the Buck Rogers line when that hits.

****! That isn't nothing. I have always kept at least 80 bucks a month aside for what I call the "Mego-like" fund.
Which means money I used to drop on CTVT's or Dr. Mego's reproduction sites.
Sometimes I would just buy stuff off eBay.
With these new lines coming out, I can put my 80 bucks a month "Mego-like" fund onto these new lines of figures.
Makes me excited to finally be getting something worth paying for!!


"Back in the day" before I knew how to customize and I wanted reproduction mego figures I was paying a certain "doctor" about forty bucks a pop to send me reproductions.
