    How do you pronounce the Mego like company names?

    Ok, we know abouut Cipsa and Ahi , but when you're SAYING them out loud, how do you pronounce them? For me:

    Cipsa= SEEP-SA
    Ahi= AH-HE
    Zica=ZEE-KAH

    What about you?

    Those look about right, though in my head Cipsa has been 'sip sa'. But seeing as how it's a Mexican company, your pronunciation is likely correct.

            Weird. Where'd the posts go?

            I have a buddy who pronounces AHI "A hi"

            I always say A.H.I.

              When I posted my reply, the thread had just appeared as a new, empty thread with no responses. I didn't even check the date on it when I replied. So if this is some glitch, at least we know approximately when it happened.

                It's too hard for me to figuring out pronounce for real sure.

                I think "KIPS- SAY" or "KEPS-SAY" for CIPSA sounds good to me. What do you think?

                  I say KEEP-SA.

                  But then again, before I met you guys, I said May-Go instead of Mee-Go...

                      LOL, Bryan and I posted at the same time. You're right "Sip-suh" for "CIPSA".

                      Lili Ledy = "Led-ee", right? What is Bah-sah stands for?

                          Here's the post from the same time as this one that caused the confusion of people thinking their posts had been deleted,

                          http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=36775

                          and here's how you pronounce the logo name for Azrak-Hamway International Incorporated:

                          Ā-aitch-Ī

                          AHI is an initialism for Azrak-Hamway International and pronounced as individual letters A, H, and I, not an acronym pronounced like the tuna fish.

                            Ok, now that's just plain weird. When I posted that, I did double post, but only one post remained, and that was the one w/ no replies. So how did this one magically re-appear? Weird.

                              Okay, let me try a post...

                              As far as the correct pronounciation for ZICA, it is pronounced ZEYE-kuh (long sounding I, like 'flying' or 'ice cream'.)

                              That's according to Craig at Zica Toys. It's his play on the 'Mego' name.
