Where did they scalp the sculpts from? What figures did they use to "steal" and modify for theirs?

I have a jj arms somewhere. I'll have to check. The legs of the PM AJ are modded mego legs. I was playing around with the bodies of the PM and Mego trying to make a better body and kept putting the legs into the "trunk" section backwards and finally figured out why. The PM upper leg is a mego leg turned backwards! Right thigh is turned into left thigh. Lower legs were switched so they bow outwards. The arms are also modded mego arms. I don't know why they changed the body for the re-release. It would have been so cool if they used the real mego style body.
