Who made the previous 9- 12" versions of them from a few years ago? Was it also Mezco?

I got Ajax for Chrismas, I am a huge fan of the movie, but have not opened him as of yet. The previous set (the caracature looking ones were also mezco, I had them too but hard times justified selling them) the first thing I thought? How could I make this into a Mego???? LOL! If I open him I will post pics.

I am not aware of anyone else making figures from that movie.

There was another line of them with a cartoonish feel to them, but yes were also mezco, I have pics of the Ajax, way cooler out of the box!
