So how many people (admins) run this site? Are you the primary admin? Is Doc's association other than a membership?

    I have an inquiring mind..

The FC sites and chat groups were fun. There was more fighting in there than a UK-Ireland soccer match! The good ole days....but i digress!

I don't care what anyone says, I still like most FCs.
The only thing I really dislike is some of the female face sculpts, like Black Widow and Rogue.
All FCs are welcome in my house. As a matter of fact, I've started a FC Wildlife Sanctuary, rescuing abandoned Famous Covers, nursing them back to health, and giving them a good home.

My Favs are Ironman, The Vision,The Falcon and Hawkeye. The girls are Hideous but what I did was Pop the heads off and put on Barbie heads which actually work well........I'm actually doing a Elasi-Girl (Incredibles) custom with one of them......

I like that description. I like to think I've made that my primary goal for more than half my life with Mego's, Gabriel Lone Ranger, Big Jims, GI Joe A Team, AHI monsters and so many more. Now that I think about it...uh...I need a bail out.

I really like FC's. I LOVED Megos when I was a kid, but when I started customizing the FC's were a dime-a-dozen at any KB toys. I always say that if I would've know that Mego bits-and-pieces were so readily available i would have customized those instead, but I don't know.

I really prefer FC's articulation. I like the slightly bigger size. The "store-bought" FC's had such a wider range of characters, females, heroes and villians. No monster, which is regretable.

FC's are like the Rob Liefeld of cloth-dressed action figures. Everybody loves to hate on them. I do notice that an AWFUL lot of FC pieces wind up on Mego bodies and the most often "altered" mego body seem to beef them up.

Again, I even acknowledge that the hasbro 9 inchers are a better quality of figure (I think Green Lantern is probably the best doll I own)but, again, when I started customizing these were really hard to find.

Oh, ebay how is it that you can ruin my life and make it better at the same time.

I would love to start an Famous Covers site.
