    Full Mattel Retro DC Set.

Saw an ad for an entire set of the Mattel DC line. I was only missing 7 figures from the line but this was to good to pass up on. Not easy for me to find these.

Sales ad picture, more to follow.

Wow, you've been hitting on some good stuff. These are a real, What could have been...," line But there is a lot of good that came from these, if opened (they look great on-card!).

I have just been revisiting my set and opening and moved Captain Cold, Black Manta and Darkseid to Type S bodies, and did a kitbash of Martian Manhunter with the FTC MM. Wonder Woman works as is in one of my displays, and I used Aquaman and Superman's costumes on "customs".

        Good stuff!

Thanks, looking for deals and jump on them when they show up.

I agree with you, these were a miss but carded are great figures, After watching the recent vid on how to remove the heads on these, swapping the bodies like you did is a great option and opens lots of options.

The outfits are great and the headsculpts really nice. These are worth getting in my mind to do what you did, the reason why I dont mind getting so many doubles to open them up.

Will be researching your posts to see if you posted some of yours, I am really curious, really enjoying getting back into Mego collecting.

This is a beautiful set congratulations. I know Dr. Mego still has some on his website store.
But, is there a reason why Mattel never made Robin? unless they did, I just never seen one.
