    That would be cool with a Buster Crabbe sculpt.

    Were the original Mego Flash Gordon line based on the Sam Jones movie of Flash Gordon?

      No, they were released in 1976. As with the Robinhood, Ivanhoe, WOZ, and Little Rascals which were based on the silver screen likeness, Mego's 9" FG line strongly resemble their 1930's counterparts from the Crabbe serials. And I'm sure that was not by accident.

        It's nice that the Mego FG Line almost resembles them,as i am a fan of the old Buster Crabbe Flash Gordon serials.

            I'd like to see John Carter of Mars, myself.

            THAT is one movie I would pay to see, if it's done correctly, by a competent director, people who KNOW how to actually ACT, and that it's not turned into one of the cheesy, sleazy sword, sorcery and sex romp that we had to deal with in the 1980's.

                  They are probably the only figures i will nto sell. The 9" scale is killer...just makes an awesome display! the playset rocks too!
