    Humongous heads

Has anyone ever noticed that the rotocast heads by CTVT are SO much bigger than usual?

I just got a Maya figure to go with my Tony.

Rooted hair, nice face sculpt; head does NOT stay on the neck plug.

Plus, there's this piece of vinyl up inside the cavity of the head.

My guess is, they cut off their neck plug in order to make it fit onto one of their bodies.

Why didn't they just make it small enough in the first place?

That huge head makes the body look ridiculously small and frail; it'd go better on a nine inch body probably.

I stuck Maya on a Breyer girl body...it looks much better. As for the male ctv's with huge noggins???...I guess you could cut off the neck posts and use them for 8" Captain Action masks. "Captain Action is....Al Bundy!!??"

I've been wanting to buy a bunch for 9 inch customs, but I don't want to pay the FLAT shipping fee.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12
