Kristy Leigh MEGO-Like BOGI Figure

I picked up this figure at an Antique mall this weekend and wanted to see if anyone knows much about it?

Her name is Kristy Leigh and she has "BOGI" made in Hong Kong on her back. There's not much stated on her box other than pictures of other outfits and figures.

I found some info on BOGI figures on the megolike.com website, it mentioned DEMO GIRL, but there was no mention to "Kristy Leigh".

This is the first one of these I've ever seen and was curious if anyone else had any of these or have seen them before?

She might have been a Demo doll that wasn't put into production, is BOGI still in business, or did it go bust?

I don't think they are still in business or at least I couldn't find them on the net. I was only able to find a few references to the toys, but no real info on the company.

I have one, but I think mine has a different outfit. I'm not so sure she's real Bogi, as the plastic seems a lot cheaper than my Bogis. Kind of like some of the Bible and ninja mego knockoffs.

I didn't completely undress her, just enough to see what was on her back. The body is not identical, I noticed one main difference - She doesn't have the "ball" at her waist. Other than that she seems to be the same.

I picked her up for $9.50 so at that price I didn't feel I could go wrong even if she turned out to be a very common figure that I just never noticed in the 70's.

There semi common , Like Dinah-mite, again It depends on the type of outfit she come with.
The Problem is shipping, Be prepared to pay 20 to 30 dollars is shipping fees.
