Just curious...what do you think a "Fair" price is??? Boxed Popy Gatchaman probably is $300+.

Fair to me means paying what something is worth, but not being raked over the coals by a seller. If you have something in $300 dollar condition, don't charge me $500 for it. Simple as that. I have just started collecting Mego's, but have been collecting records for about 5 years now and have run into lots of people who overcharge. I don't know how rampant it is in the Mego community, but I want to just be up front about what I am and am not willing to pay.

I already contacted him, but his posts were from so long ago I am sure everything is already gone by now. But who knows.

Im pretty sure alot of his stuff is still available. I know he was selling most of the stuff on his website. Seem to remember that he doesnt really check his Pms though and the original post had his email address for contact. Good luck with the hunt. Got four of them and need like three more. They dont show up very often.

I think I sent him an e-mail but I don't really recall. I will probably try again, thanks for the tip though. Yeah they are a pain to collect, but I love Japanese culture, especially the super heroes, so it's only natural I want to blow a bunch of cash on some 8 inch toys

I completed the set a few years ago by contacting ebay sellers in Japan and having them look for me. I was able to find all the difficult ones that way. There is also Japan yahoo auctions, I know they turn up there regularly. You have to use a buying service and pay a commission in order to bid on any of those auctions though. Still worth it as from my experiences, tough items sell cheaper there.

i think the ultraman and ultraseven are the hardest to find in good condition because their suits were made of this spongy/foamy material and after 30 yrs or so begin to deteriorate.

I have, I actually got more hits here! I have contacted a few people, but unfortunately they have very busy schedules so they have taken quite a long time to get back to me, but I do have patience.
