Was Tex Willer ever made? How can i tell the difference?

There'a a huge difference in the quality Clem. Although CTVT accessories pass quite well until you compare them with original Megos. The heads are rubbery and they are on type two bodies. Tex Willer Accessory Check: Mego Museum will help you out further.

CTVT still has all the parts to assemple tex and the gang in repro style ( Doc MEgo bruce head is better though and strangly CTVT hats fit better on DM head?

Huh? All the CTVT tex's I've every seen came with standard CTVT bodies. You couldn't fit the cowboy boots over 1999 legged bodies.

The ones sold by the Exclusive Distributors had standard bodies and cowboy boots. The Western figures TW set available thru CTVT have Trek legs and Black Aussie hats.

That's how they're selling them now. You have to dress them yourself and put the heads on the bodies,which are Space:1999 bodies.

You can buy just the costumes as parts from CTVT and then get the correct hats and boots. But if you purchase the special western character set, it comes with the heads on 1999 booted bodies as mentioned above. You can still put together a repro set if you add all the bits and pieces together and put them in your cart.

Yes! i did this myself, bought the figures from CTV, then the other parts seperately to make the complete Tex Willer set and now the look just great!! now i only need repro boxes for them for display and my display will be complete. (anyone sells repro boxes here?)
