    Hiya Mattelmike,

I am a fan of the JJ. Amazing backstory to this fellow. Even more amazing that someone made a toy out of him.

        J.J.

yes he is kinda goofy looking not really a fan need to fix that statement but was looking in the plaidstallion archives and threads and nobody has ever mentioned him. I think Ideal best work ever was Evel Knievel line then Team America.

Did you all know that JJ is a real guy?
If not, check out the short Wiki. There are some awesome things on youtube as well.

btw: When I first came across JJ the toy, I thought it was odd looking as well. Then I saw the real deal and they actually did him some justice with the sculpt.
There was some talk about a JJ movie a while back. Nothing really came out of it, but it sounds great to me. Better than rehashing a 70's sitcom.

              have a good time

That's a great price. I've seen them go for over $60.00 in the box so you did very well. I remember seeing him in the Sears Christmas catalog ('76 if memory serves) and I got one for the holidays. He also had a Big Jim style van you could purchase that had a variety of functions to it. I think his greatest quality was the body that was given to him. Many believe it was the remains of Kid Action made over with a new head.

Was it still factory sealed? If so, that was an extraordinary deal.
