Let's ask the experts and the guys with the power

    Paul, Dave and Jason;

My question to you is simple and it may have been answered already. I realize that Night of the Living Dead was more of a heartfelt choice for Paul and I am sure Cap Action was the same for Dave. My question is in two parts. It's not a what would you like to see anyone do next it's a quaestion of what would you like to do next?

In a perfect world given the money, the license and the where with all, what line or lines of figures would you most like to produce.. if you were able? ( Marvel and DC are not allowed however)

Part two is there a license for a new property that you think would really reviatlize and stir interest in the Mego style action figure?

I like the idea behind this thread...instead of "Us" posting a wish thread...you're asking the Manufactures what their "wish" Figure Line would be...assuming Money & license were not an issue.

I prefer not to make a wish list because I don't want to see someone else
try to grab the license before I get to it.

Besides, when I mention potential licenses, it can get spread as a rumor
to other sites and make the license holder think I am announcing a deal
      that does not exist yet.

This is the best Thread to date. Without holding , Paul, Dave, and Jason to anything, and asking them as manufacturers what they would like to produce. That's a great idea. As along as people understand this is Hypothetical and they are in no way committing to anything. I am curious to what they would like to do if they could.

Well... I think we can still play this to some extent, I mean I have a good feeling some of mine are so far out of reach that I'll take the chance

STAR WARS- I mean really, who wouldn't want these? This is a line that sells always and if it could be done it would sell. I'd make them, I'd buy them, I'd support them. Looking at Dave Mc's versions makes my heart sick that these are'nt already made.

Indiana Jones- Another no-brainer for me, this would be a kick butt line and fun to make. Relativly simple in design and just fun, I mean 8 inch N A Z I s to melt! FU GHET About it!

Johnny Quest- With the advent of either a 12 inch body for DQ and Race or maybe a Lion Rock body for JQ and Hadji. Either way I think it would be a fun line. Add a Dr. Ling, and some "frog" men, and maybe a flying saucer? Whew, I could go on for days, but this is another one I think would be cool!

Universal Monsters- I mean GOOD ONES, Sideshow-like Quality. I would eat these up, especially with stuff like alternate heads and hands to transform Lon into the Wolfman! Or how about a realistic CFTBL suit and mask for a regular guy to put on! Really take it to the next level kind of stuff.

and of course the more realistic: Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Lone Ranger, Dick Tracy, Prince Valiant, Zorro...

                Dave and Paul

Thanks guys. I understand Paul's response and apreciate Dave's candor. I was not looking to put you guys on the spot but I agree that these things can get misconscrued as a comment on what may be coming. As someone pointed out the intent was to ask you guys rather than have another run of "what sould they make next?" Although I love those myself.

                Dave,
first can you check your records for me I have not received any e-mail or mail with the code for the club membership I purchased last time. Also, don't forget I ordered an EB Phantom...

Anyway, I like the choices. I hope we do see some of those. I often wonder that had Mego bought Star Wars might they still be around today and might that have helped keep the 8" figures alive ..... My brother had those small and large figures and I thought they sucked.

Of all of those choices do you think any of those would have the ability to add life and interest to 8 inch figures?

I have to think Robot Chicken has stirred up some interest.

                Thanks guys.. apreciate it.

Please, if you guys are willing let us know what you'll be showing at the Comic Con this weekend for all who can't make it....

hey, let me add a suggestion....
think about Thundar and his pals

I can see a line of 6 special edition 8" G.I. Joe figures of some of their most popular and favorite characters....
