Naked AHI Mummy

Several months back, I won an eBay auction for some sort of Mego something...anyway, included with my win was a naked AHI mummy. It has the "glam" painted face and ram-straight arms (using an arm sling like the early versions won't work). Anyway, what should I do with this guy? I have considered re-wrapping him, but I am not sure exactly what I should use for the wraps or, even how to wrap him. The photos I've seen haven't got enough detail.

Tea-stained gauze?
Torn cotton/linen?

Ideas?

I MIGHT have an idea in a week or so. If you're gonna rewrap him, try finding an old whilte or light grey button up shirt, with a coarse weave fabric. Cut into strips; a coarse material will fray along the edges and look weathered. Folks have mentioned the teabag for weathering, although you could water down a cheapie fabric paint too.

I'd use gauze but personally would do the "Blood Splots" paint job in bright red. I know it makes no sense but it's so kid logical...
