AHI Apeman boots?

I have a pair of tall brown boots,they look a hair big for mego scale,i thought they were for Big Jim when i first got them.These are hard plastic and are marked HONG KONG on the side of the heel.After looking at the apemen here the boots are very similar to what one of them is wearing.I would post a picture,but my picture posting skills need some honing.Do these sound familar to anyone?

Well thanks to Kryptosmaster,theres a picture of the boots. Black Mego boot for scale. Does anyone know who they might belong to?Thanks

The AHI Apeman boots were cast from BJ, but I thought they were all black.

There is an AHI apeman in the mego- like section of The Gallery,that is wearing brown boots.I saw that a few days ago and thats what got me thinking that they may be apeman boots.They look very close to the boots pictured and appear to be kinda oversized also.

I just dug out the one Apeman i have that actually has clothes and he has black boots which are identical to the brown boots except they have tread on the bottom and hong kong is on the very top of the boot. There again i dont know if these are original or not.I posted some pictures to my user gallery.

The boots come in both black and brown copied from Big Jim boot mold.

Yeah the came black or brown ,tread or no tread and similar to big Jim only only molded in stiff Poly elthene instead of vinyle
they have that look of a rubber ankle boot with the leather caf upper .
on the samples i have there seems to be no set pattern on which figure got what.
its like the rifle they came with,either Black m1 with molded sling or with string sling.
or brown M1 carbine with /or without magazine ,molded sling or string sling
