    the re-issue CAPT ACTION from 98

    Was wondering if anyone else was into these and what was aviable i know there was
    • LONE RANGER
    • TONTO
    • GREEN HORNET
    • KATO
    WAS there anyone else?

    Way back in 99 i got lone ranger,tonto,green hornet. kato at KB for like 7 bucks each but the four i got was the only ones i saw never saw the flash gordon or ming, Ming looks awsome flash gordon looks dull, Anywho i found the four i had today packed away so i opened them for display and they are pretty cool with nice detail how rare or hard to get are these anyway?

      Flash gordon and Ming the Merciless were made.

      Also there were these characters, which were originally designed as part of Capt. Action, and then pitched again as stand alone lines when Captain Action bit the dust:

          Ming and Flash Gordon were made also and LR was the Red Shirt one

          then a acouple of years later Diamond released Dr Evil; Cap and Action boy in traditional boxes and 4 uniform sets were released

          Kato (nicer sculpt than KB sets)
          Green Hornet
          kabai Sing ( for Dr Evil)
          Phantom
          Lone Ranger ( blue shirt)

          Speed Racer and Capt Terror were not made
          Looking for t1 LIZARD

            Shame the SPEED RACER and JOHHNY QUEST were never released as RACE Bannon and RACER X whould have been on top of my want list, I know there was someone who made custom kits but i can't rember who might have been classis plastic or something like that

              Man, that JQ set would have been great. If only one of our resident Mego type figure companies could get it done in 8 inch size.

                That JQ stuff is uber bad arse... That's a big license (still), MCFarlane having just done the semi-static statue thingie with Jonny and the pterodactyl...

                Besides the license though to go truly MEGO scale ya need 6 inch figures for the boys, and 8 inch for Dr. Q and Race... so tooling a Lion Rock body is the big block... it would be for us anyway...

                  Race is an pretty easy custom to make all you need is a CTVT JETT JUNGLE head a doc MEGO peter parker repo red sweater a pair of black pants and a pair of white ACTION JACKSON boots and a mego body

                    Me too! Wow what great figures! I need to have some Mego scale JQ figures now. I think I'll make some lame customs until someone gets the license and makes good ones.
