Mark Huckabone (not a member here) was responsible for these. My guess is the ship for more waves of figures has long sailed

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. It was a real bummer we didn't get the second series. I thought they were great. Paid full price for the set right when they first released. Never regretted it. Terrific quality. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

In researching Huckleberry's gorgeous second series of McDonaldland figures this week, and reminiscing about trippy McDonaldland goodness on youtube, I discovered there is a McDonaldland Museum inside a McDonalds about 10 minutes away from me in North Hollywood. So I went to check it out today and thought I'd share some pics of the awesomeness...

UPDATE: I stopped by this Mcdonalds today - It was less than 10 min away.
Maybe because I went on a busy Sunday afternoon, I was taken aback at how messy it was. Tables were left with rubbish all over them. Needless to say I got my food to go.
However it was pretty cool to see all the Mcdonaldland characters there. (I took some pictures as well and will post them up when I get a chance.) Pretty much everything was where it was in Harbingerboy's pics, though some of the characters had been moved around. The Mayor McCheese had been moved upstairs, I didn't see the upside down Fry Guys...but may have just missed them.
Interesting stuff. I might go back on a slower day to have another look. Pretty cool to see the original Remco Figures carded there as I have been slowly picking them up.Comment

I was hoping that this series would have made it longer. I would have loved to get Uncle O' Grimacey in wave 3.
