CTVT heads

Just a note. I made a repro RC batman using a CTVT head for my kids. Well in removing the cowl over and over, it tore at the neck plug seam. I would recommend using a Doc Mego head if a cowl is to be removed a lot. I switched it for a DM Bruce head. CTVT heads are thinner and won't stand up to the rigors of Batness on a daily basis. CTVT Bruce heads are fine for displaying or as a knockoff AE Bruce IMHO. Your thoughts?

The softness of the CTVT Bruce Wayne head is only rivaled by the hardness of the DM Bruce Wayne head. Likeness wise, I'd go for the CTVT.

I went with Doc Megos for my son. It has held up well. The hardness actually works better if it is to be played with. Some of the CTVT heads are not as thin as others. Guess it depends on which production run it came out of. I have used quie a few of their heads. I find that the paint jobs tend to rub a lot easier though. As a rule I only now buy accesories and heads from them, clothes only if I have too. Their bodies are garbage and the clothes are always too tight, even on their own bodies.

I actually have the CTVT head on my Repr Tex Willer , and The Doc Mego For My Repro Secret Identity Bruce Wayne, and My Custom All Black Removable Cowl Batman. I prefer the Doc Mego Heads. He should look into doing a line of all Rotocast heads, Especially to fix the Crappy thin ones by CTVT.

I dont know,, I found that docmego shirts are too tight, I put one on a ctvt figure body and it was tight, the shirts are smaller than original mego shirts,,
