    Super Joe Body

    Hi There.

Just took delivery of a Carded Super Joe with exploding hands and detached limbs. If I cant get a restring job done, I may have to look for a replacement body. Does anyone know of a good source for suitable bodies?

    Thanks

You may be able to use a body from the Playing Mantis "Action Jackson" figures... They are closer to the size of Super Joe than MEGO was, so they'd might make an okay body for you.

They show up on eBay sometimes, or you may be able to get one if you post in Marketplace.

I haven't tried one myself, but I've also heard that those Playing Mantis Action Jacksons may be your best bet.

Yeah, he's a hair over 8 1/2 inches. My restored Super Joe is fitted with Mego hands. The hands look a tad small, but not noticably so. But Super Joe does look kind of tall if he's mingled in with Megos.
