I have heard that only the first four have been done. Of course if they sell well then I am sure the line will continue as it did for Star Trek.
Dr. Mego keeps saying he has exciting news that will be revealed soon so let's see waht they have in store.Comment

Not gonna happen, atleast not now according to Doc. "If" these go well, maybe Diamond Direct will order more different figures.
So far responce hasn't been the greatest, so don't hold your breath.

I agree
Also, these toys selling might spark a CGI cartoon or something if we were really lucky.
Just keep Tim Burton far away!
Did anyone ever play the PC Planet of the Apes videogame? The cut scenes replaced Taylor etc with other astronaughts I believe but it all had a familar sense to it.Comment

DST was only interested in making Cornelius, S.Ape, Zaius, and Zira after Fox shot down characters from the TV show and sequels.
Sales were not great on the four - and given the economy lately - I doubt many retailers will be interested in additional figures of minor characters from the first film.Comment

Really saddened to hear that there'll be no POTA generals or others. I love Emcee and have bought many Trek multiples, the same goes for Apes.
So the end of the line was a licensing problem? Are these decisions based soley on pre-orders?WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I would love to make more Apes and, maybe DST and Fox will decide to keep
the license going - but I have not heard anything.
If fans make something popular, and buy up everything in the stores, retailers
usually get word back to Diamond.Comment

I'm wondering if the recent announcement that Fox is looking at making a new Apes movie might have something to do with this Paul? Kind of like when Paramount/Viacom put a moritorium on new Trek licenses a few years back...?"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment
