    help ID a dracula? cape

    Hiya folks,

Looking for some opinion on this cape. Is it AHI? remco? Lincoln? homemade?

I was thinking AHI with a snap instead of elastic, but wasn't sure if those were two colors or only black.

any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The material almost looks too nice for AHI or Lincoln.

I think I have one of these. Came off a molded body Drac. I used the hands on a Moon Knight custom I have. Cape was the only material, everything else was molded. Did the sister company of CTVT ever do a Drac? For some reason I associated it with the wrestling and 3 stooges side of CTVT. I'll do some research and get back.

It was the Figures Co Bela Lugosi Drac figure I had, and they look very close but your's appears to be a little shorter and has snaps. Colors are the same as is the design. Here's the link to the one I found on ebay. This figure is an inch or so shorter than a Mego figure.

I think they did do a Bela Dracula around the same time the Flatt one came out. I believe he was a figure with sculpted plastic clothing. I think Megocrazy may have figured this one out.

I have one of these and this is where it came from...
            "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

              Hiya Merlyn,

Once again the board comes through. It never ceases to amaze me; the depth of plastic knowledge collected here. Thanks

And... That is a really cool looking toy line. Never heard of them, but I will have to do some research now. I think my daughter would really like those. Dragon Queen. Doesn't get much better for an adventurous little girl. At least it has the 'on' at the end of Dragon.

              thanks again.

I remember seeing Golden Girl on the shelves, and some commercials too. I recall thinking they were kind of evil looking for a toyline. Pretty hardcore for the 80s. If I remember right, Galoob beat Mattel to the punch on a female MOTU line with this. She-Ra actually came later.
