Do old Flatt's still change hands today ?

Just wondering what's happening in the Flatt collecting market today ?

Do Flatt's still command the prices they once did ?

Do people even sell older Flatts anymore ?

If a person did sell a Flatt, would it be open season on limitless bidding ?

I don't own any, but as a person who appreciates customs, I was wondering if the old Flatt customs retain their value today ?

ScottA was trying to sell some a couple of weeks ago. I believe his price was fair, but I don't know if he had any takers or not. They were alter egos.

I have a Lugosi, but he certainly isn't going for big bucks. I think it really depends on the character, and I'm afraid I don't know much about his figures, although I like practically everyone I have seen.

They still show up on Ebay from time to time. Most get anywhere from 299 to 495 ,.. that have sold from what I have scene.

i think the flatts are definitely not worth as much as before however they still sell for at least $300 and up. people who have them dont sell because they love the figures or because they have too much $$$ into it that they would take a heavy loss on it.

I also don't think they command quite the prices they once did. However, I think it really depends on what character is up for sale. While he made over 20 figures of Flash, he probably made less than 5 of 3D-Man. Most collectors whould have Flash but not many would have 3D-Man, so the demand would be greater.

And yes, the Flatt AE's are still available.

Yes they retian there value for the most part depending on what a person paid. In the last year I know of 2-3 that brought 1200 each, but rarer figs. Most common ones bring 300-495 depending how new, or old a figure, or if updates were done (Old Batman verses a more recent much improved Batman). They just don't bring 600+ for some of the more common figures. The rarer ones probably bring 1500 verses 3500-4000+ in years past, where as the common ones brought 500-700. And yes, if someone paid big $$ for one, they would be less likely to take a loss and just hold onto them. If someone was selling, they would have to wait and find a buyer, or ebay it and possibly get the minimum there. I like my figures, and usually replace one with one, when I do sell. I also stay within what I feel is reasonable, as I was part of the crazy era. I do know of people still asking 3000 for some of the figures, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are buried with them at that price. Also, I wouldn't be surprized if more and more started showing up on the Ebay with the way the economy is going.
