    Trek Chairs Boldly Going Ahead

    Hey all,

Thanks again for all the support, I'm glad we could make this happen. I have paid the tooling charge and the master mold maker is doing his thing. I'm going to get some pictures to show, it's a freaking crazy process. Really interesting stuff (to me anyway).

I'm still waiting on some pledged payments that I will need to pay the molding costs when we get there, but we will definitely get here soon!

    Thanks!

Scott: You'll have the HARDEST JOB of all ~ NOW you'll have to spend every waking hour making more of your display sets for the increased demand, thanks to this chair initiative. You'll never see the light of day..

        That's GREAT, Scott !!!!!!

Hey, I just said "Great Scott"

        BTW,
        I had a passing thought .....
These chairs are going to be moulded in two pieces right ? (pedestal and seat/back)
Perhaps some people might want to get both colours and mix them up for more options.

        Example: ... A black pedestal with a blue seat/back.
That might even be more Trek-ish then one colour.

        Just a thought.

Hey ~ For you Space:1999 collectors, I'd use this for a Cdr Koenig YR1 command chair, should work for your YR2 Command Center as well..

I tried the Mattel set for the 9" figures with the Mego figs and the Mego line just look like kids in the big chairs..

            Laugh-In's Lilly Tomlin, anyone..

Fantastic news Scott, thanks for doing this and thanks for taking the risk.
Once they are made I'm sure you could sell a few on eBay
