Well...I've got the go ahead from Jay to show You our COMMANDER X Prototype!! Now, this is a Prototype...so the Head was painted by Me, but Doc Mego has the rest of the Heads being Machine painted in China as We speak! So...They'll be MUCH better than My paint Job!

But why? To "re-use" Heads...is VERY Mego! Mego did it with Bruce Wayne/Tex Willer/blue Eyed Astronaut...Alan Verdon/Cheron...POTA Astronaut/Kit Willer...and so on!Plus...I think the Superman Head was the PERFECT match for Commander X.

I agree. I would like to see Kent and Parker in blonde paint schemes. Scotty with brown or blonde hair might offer up some customs possibilities as well without having to create a new mold. Not sure about McCoy and Kirk, as those sculpts are so on but maybe. Cheron's head might have some other possibilities. Adam Strange and Starman if you add a fin. Johnny Quick with some bolts added. Wonder how Bruce Wayne would look with blonde hair? With the number of heads CTVT did I'm surprised they didn't do some different paint schemes to get max use from the molds they had to make. Figure the knights alone. Ivanhoe is a great sculpt. I used it on a Dr Strange custom I did, and it looked great. Might look good in brown and blonde. Lancelot, Galahad, Will Scarlet, maybe even Blackbeard or Little John. Haven't even gotten into painted masks and what might have been possible. Love to see Docs Supergirl head available in multiple hair colors and styles.

Busting Someone's nads for a "non origional" head seems alittle harsh in a thread where someone is offering a Never before offered Super Hero in this Scale, at an Afordable Price. This is a Fantastic 1ST Effort imo,.. & look forward to the figure & future Offering's . I aploude all Parties Involved.

Like I said in the other thread...I love him and really want one. On my favourite WGSH head and all YAY. I reckon his mask should be a little bigger, like in the picture.

Wow....thanks Jason(and EVERYBODY!). The decision to use the Superman Head wasn't made lightly...plenty of thought went into it, and based on Jay's influence's on the creation of Commander X...it made sense. But I'll let Jay explain it better.

Commander X will be a fairly limited run...but if He sells well...ALL profits will go directly into the production of the next Figure! And the next Figure will have an "ALL NEW ORIGINAL" Headsculpt Rotocast in China!!!!
